To place your order email me at deborahsaho@claypony.com with your mailing address. Let me know if you want the name of your bird or another short message on the bottom of the vessel. I'll email you back and let you know how long it will take to make your vessel (usually two weeks). You can pay by check or paypal.
I'm not a mass production potter. Each vessel is hand thrown on an old fashioned kick wheel. No glaze is used so the beauty as well as the imperfections of the of the bare clay and the process will show. Each will be between 4 and 5 inches tall and wide.
To collect the feathers:
Send mostly smaller (1 to 2 inches) feathers and a few larger ones. The smaller ones come out better on the vessel because you can see the whole featuer. I use the larger ones to decorate the opening of the Vessel. Color does not matter! Collect the feathers as they loose them naturally. Do not harm your bird collecting feathers.
Place the feathers in a small Ziplock bag. Press to let the air out of the bag or envelope.
