I'm not a mass production potter. Each vessel is hand thrown on an old fashioned kick wheel. No glaze is used so the beauty as well as the imperfections of the of the bare clay and the process will show. Each will be between 4 and 5 inches tall and wide. The vessels will be shiny because I buff and wax them but there is no glaze so they are not watertight. No liquids can be used in them.
To collect the hair:
If possible clip hair from where your pet's hair is the longest and thickest, with dogs it's often around their neck, tail or legs. Along with the clippings send some sheeded out hair from normal burshing. Color does not matter, all the lines will turn out black on the vessel! I need about 20 pieces of hair. If you have less then 20 hairs to send I can still make the vessel it will just have less hair marks.
Place the hair into a small Ziplock bag or an envelope will do. Press to let the air out of the bag or envelope and write the name of your pet on the baggie.
